Sitka Creations is named after the Sitka Spruce in Alaska.
Sitka Creations, a small and growing international design studio, was created in 2002 in Rockland, Maine by a graphic designer trained in Nashville, Tennessee, Providence, Rhode Island, and Budapest, Hungary. Sitka Creations then set up a studio on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Sitka Creations is now in NYC.
Tamar Russell

A Tennessee native, with Hungarian roots, Miss Russell’s background is in print design. Her father is a bookbinder and printer in the Southern US. Miss Russell has a certificate in photography from Cumberland University in TN, an Associates in design from Nashville State Technical Institute, a BA in design from Rhode Island College and a year abroad at the economics university Kögaz in Budapest, Hungary. Miss Russell operates the home studio for Sitka Creations in NYC, USA with a small studio space on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, USA.

Dragan Dimic
Web-Developer | Web-Designer | Web-Master
Dragan Dimic, born in Belgrade in 1974, was born to be programmer. Mr. Dimic started programming in elementary school and has programmed ever since on almost every generation of home computers. In 2002 Mr. Dimic got a BSC degree in Library and Information Science at Belgrade University, Belgrade, Serbia. In 1998 he started working in an advertising agency, as designer, and later as web designer/developer, that is web programmer (PHP), providing services for more than 100 companies. He worked with this agency for nine years. In 2007 he began working as a freelancer. Mr. Dimic loves to learn and tries to stay on the edge of the progress in web design and development in order to give customers the best. He is a firm believer in the benefit of standardized workflows in the design and development process – with the customers long-term benefit in view.

Michala Smith

Born and bred in New York, Miss Smith is a self-described laughing machine. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. Now, she is concentrating on developing her career in marketing, social media and public relations. When she has a moment, she enjoys reading and traveling; Martha’s Vineyard, Block Island, Puerto Rico, New Orleans and Denmark being some of her favorite travel spots.

Lidija Butkovic

Raised in Pancevo, Serbia, Ms. Butkovic began her journalism career in Pristine at the local radio station as a student of The Faculty of Political Sciences, department of Journalism. Besides press and electronic media, she is experienced in PR, marketing and advertising. She is a native Serbian and she speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Ms. Butkovic has been Sitka’s Art & Entertainment Blogger since 2009. She currently resides in Belgrade, Serbia.

Jeremy Smith

Mr. Smith graduated with an associates degree in Houston, TX, where he was born and raised. In his early 20′s, he moved to NYC for a few years before an extended sojourn on Martha’s Vineyard, where he currently resides. Mr. Smith designs, illustrates, and draws. His specialties include logos, brochures/ads, and illustrations (digital and hand-drawn). He can also draw portraits with crazy likeness and stylized flair. He also speaks fluent Portuguese and quasi-fluent Spanish.

Simao Ago is the owner of Studio30 Fotography. He is based in northern New Jersey and the New York City Tri-State area. His varied background of styles and cultures, combined with his love of the urban subculture world, jazz, blues, hip-hop, break beats, break-dancing, and the like, demonstrate a body of work of incredibly vast scope. Mr. Ago is a self-taught artist. He is the primary photographer for Sitka Creations.
